Organization at a glance
Kampon Zila Protibondhi Federation is a Disabled Peoples Organization (DPO) working in Kushtia district of Bangladesh. The organization was established in 2004 being started involving 1,400 persons with disabilities with support from ADD International Bangladesh now the organization has total 3,000 members; among them male 1,526 and female 1,474The organization implements its activities ensuring equal participation of men and women with disabilities. According the bylaws of the organization there are 36 members in its General Committee and 11 members are in the Executive Committee. The organizational activities are implemented by the staff and volunteers following the directives of the General Secretary/ Executive Director. Through the direct involvement of the men and women with disabilities, the organization is working to promote rights of persons with disabilities and improving their lives with supports from government and non-government organizations. Besides, the organization is striving for partnership with the mainstreaming organizations for Disability Inclusion in their programs through ensuring active and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities as well as providing capacity building and technical assistance.

Kampon Zila Protibondhi Federation is working in Bangladesh in Kushtia district. It is working in the all Unions of under Kushtia Sadar, Mirpur, Bheramara and Daulatpur sub-district (upazila) of Kushtia.
